Animated Production: “New Sheriff”
This developing collection of background paintings were made for an animated short film titled “New Sheriff”, A production I am currently working on with some peers, including writers, a production team, vis dev artists, animators and of course other background artists. My role is to design and paint backgrounds based on storyboards. I will soon be including a reel of the individual shots of which I have helped to produce. The style we are working in is heavily inspired by Genndy Tartakovsky’s “Powerpuff Girls” and the earlier season of “Samurai Jack”.
